The institutions I’ve worked for varied in selectivity, with three paths for students - “yes,” “no,” or “not right now.” River’s Edge was founded to focus on the “yes.” We will celebrate every victory, and let go of every setback. Serving students, I wear many hats — sounding board, challenger, confidant, teammate, teacher, guide, resource, listener, mediator, helper, advocate, and —when needed— hype-man.

I help college-bound students find their fit because I endlessly acquire knowledge, because I have been “in the arena” of selective admissions offices, and because I believe the convergence of person and place is a beautiful thing.

Pennsylvania is home. I grew up in Lancaster County, and have spent most of my adult life in the Pittsburgh area. In addition to spending time with my wife and son, I like to play golf, cook, and add to my list of baseball stadiums and college campuses visited.
